The Friends of Upper Dublin Public Library, a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization, stimulates public interest in our Library & supplements funding to support the cultural, educational, and special needs of the Library. An award-winning organization, the Friends received the Upper Dublin Medal for outstanding nonprofit in 2014.

The Friends enables the UDPL to fulfill its mission, funding programs that promote reading for all ages, enhance lives with educational opportunities, extend learning into the wider landscape, and give back to the community. With costs covered by the Friends, most programs are free so everyone is able to participate. Some popular programs we support:
