Our commitment to early learning as part of the network of Family Place Libraries has made the UDPL a destination for families with babies through preschoolers. Our dedicated PlaySpace and program offerings support the whole family—providing vital building blocks for healthy development as well as informative resources for parents & caregivers. The UDPL recognizes and promotes 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, a national initiative that encourages parent-child bonding through reading before school begins. Visit the Library to learn more.
