Presenters:
Diane Billas lives in Upper Dublin with her husband and son. When she’s not writing she can be found reading multiple books at once, performing the French horn or piano, and dreaming of the next country she’s going to visit. She is the author of the young adult sapphic romance Does Love Always Win?, featured in Parents magazine, and the young adult superhero book Superficial, both with Creative James Media. Diane writes the books she wished she could have read in high school.

Laura Parnum is the author of the award-winning middle grade novel Peril at Price Manor (HarperCollins 2023) and the upcoming novel The Haunting of Bellington Cottage (HarperCollins summer 2025). She writes stories that blend humor and heart with a touch of horror. When she’s not writing, she’s editing other people’s stories and helping out at the local elementary school library. She currently serves as Co-Regional Advisor for the Eastern Pennsylvania region of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Laura lives with her family in Philadelphia. They have a turtle that bites and a snake that doesn’t.
