Description:
How do you take a tangled mess of a backyard and turn it into a wildlife oasis? Join native gardening geek, Katie Fisk, and learn why native gardening is so important now more than ever, her journey of the bumps and successes she's had along the way, and how you can begin your own native gardening journey no matter where you live.

This monthly meeting of the Wyncote Audubon Society is open to the public in partnership with Upper Dublin Library.  Join us for a new topic and new speaker every month.

Each month's details will be updated approximately one month in advance. All are welcome!

The Wyncote Audubon Society is a Chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the nearly 2000 Audubon members who reside in major portions of Montgomery County and Philadelphia including Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, Roxborough, North Philadelphia and Northeast Philadelphia.

Presenter: Katie Fisk has been an environmental educator and animal curator at Briar Bush Nature Center in Abington for 14 years. She loves connecting people of all ages to nature and helping them make new discoveries about the world around them. At home, her greatest passion is working in her native garden and observing all the birds, bugs, and flowers it supports.
