Upper Dublin Township has been through a lot in the past month, from the damage sustained by Hurricane Ida and the tornado, to the assessment of damage and rebuilding of homes, the Township building, and local schools. It is amazing how quickly the community united to clean up the debris and move essential services to new locations.
At the Upper Dublin Library, we have been talking to visitors whose homes and grounds were destroyed and are slowly starting to rebuild. Whether they are looking for new tree varieties to replace their uprooted ones, or browsing DVDs or books to escape the stress of rebuilding, the Library has much to offer.
Our librarians have created a Tornado Recovery Resource List with informative articles, books, and more on topics such as home repair, stress management, and light reads. Whether you were personally affected by the storm or not, we hope that you’ll find something helpful here. Don’t forget about our Computer Lab where we can help you with printing, copying, and scanning. And as always, if you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to hang out, work, browse, or relax, our doors are open!
