At the end of the year I like to read those snippet “Best of..” lists. This end of year I found them on a continuous loop on my facebook home page – Huffington Post’s “Worst Celebrity Fashion Don’ts of 2014” to BuzzFeed’s “2014’s Best Kale Recipes” PASS! But this one caught my eye – NPR’s “Best Books of 2014”. This “Book Concierege” is an index of 250 titles NPR staff & critics loved in 2014. Roll over the book cover to get a brief synopsis or search by type via their clever index- everything from “It’s all Geek to Me” to “Seriously Great Writing.” I was instantly sucked in. I am embarrassed to say that I have read very few of the books on the list but I now have many new additions to my UPDL Library account “Books I want to read” list!
