Resources for Video Chatting

The following resources can be used to help you video chat with friends and loved ones. Each resource contains downloading and set up instructions to help you use the resources on your devices.

Facetime LogoFaceTime – FaceTime is Apple’s proprietary video calling app. If you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac, it operates seamlessly, letting you start a video chat with any of your contacts (so long as they are also Apple device users) the same way you would a phone call or text message.

*FaceTime will ONLY work with other people who have Apple Devices. It will NOT work if you or anyone you are trying to contact has an Android or other type of device.*

Zoom Video Conferencing IconZoom – Zoom offers video and audio conferencing, chat and webinar features across mobile devices, desktops, and phones. It offers a free basic account that allows you to host up to 100 participants and unlimited one-to-one meetings.

Skype LogoSkype – Skype is Microsoft’s video and audio calling services that is available to be downloaded to Apple, Android, and Windows devices. All users will need to download and create Skype accounts in order for you to chat with them.
