Progress reports are a standard for Library Directors. Through these reports, we share with our residents how we’re responding to our community and the achievements we’ve made. These documents also assist the library staff and administration in thinking about where we need to be headed.

I share with you today the latest of the UDPL’s two main reports.

The first is the UDPL’s 2015: A Year in Review. In addition to the Library’s annual statistics and highlights, the brochure also highlights last year’s achievements and introduces the UDPL STEAM Lab we launched thanks to a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor. Special thanks to the Friends of Upper Dublin Public Library, too, for funding the STEAM Lab furnishings in our Teen Space.

The second report is the UDPL’s June 2016 Monthly Report. A new format, this report highlights the Library’s monthly activities, especially as they respond to the priorities we’ve identified.
