Hi everyone, quick post today because I need to be on set soon. Our amazing Kids Advisory Board is filming a promotional video for the Summer Reading Club and I am expecting a few of them this afternoon. We are using iMovie and one of the movie trailer templates to film. It’s easy, but the coordination and shooting take work. This kids are amazing and astound me every month with the compassion and caring they show for their library. That’s what I wanted when I started the program, a chance for some of our younger patrons to have a say in what happens here and to show that their opinions matter too.

I can’t wait for everyone to see the video, watch for the debut in about a week!

The Kids Advisory Board will take a break this summer and be back in September. The program is open to children in 3rd-5th grade and does require registration, we meet once a month.
