Dear Patrons and Friends,

With the county now entering the green phase and the UD Library’s impending move I wanted to share with you what library services are available.

Borrowing Books: You may borrow books from other libraries! While the UDPL is not a pickup location due to our move, neighboring libraries are fulfilling our patrons requests for items. Requests placed prior to the library’s closing in March will be fulfilled by the Horsham Library. For any new requests placed now, residents may choose any MCLINC Library convenient to them.

Returning Books: Please continue to hold on to your Upper Dublin Library books and items. No overdue fines will be charged. Once we are settled in the new library we will let you know when you can begin returning them.

Summer Reading Club: Join the UDPL’s Virtual Summer Reading Club, Imagine Your Story for all ages. Through our virtual platform, Beanstack, you can log your reading minutes or complete various activities to earn badges and a chance to win prizes. Registration begins Monday 6/29 here. Also, check out all our summer programs on our calendar. Storytimes, Fairies & Gnomes Book Club, Virtual Guessing Game, Steam Activities to do at home, and Creative Writing for Teens, to name a few. We are also hosting several college prep discussions, including College Admissions & Financial Aid The Now Normal from College Planning Service America on Thursday, July 9.

We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience as our countywide delivery service ramps back up to normal and as we relocate to our beautiful, new building at 520 Virginia Drive.
