September is Library Card Sign Up Month, and even if you already have a library card, I bet there’s something you don’t know about what we do. Have you checked out ebooks through Overdrive or full length digital magazines via the Zinio platform? Do you know that the library now has two 3-D printers and that we are offering 3-D printing classes this fall (online registration required)? How about that you can print from anywhere via wifi to our printers? To be fair, that last one we’ve only had available for the last few weeks, but it serves my point. There’s so much going on at the UDPL, you can’t afford to fall behind.

Come visit us to learn more. And today, September 19, you’ll find us everywhere—the Ambler Farmer’s Market, the soccer games at Mondauk, the Bark Park’s Pet Talent Show, and our very own Craft-a-Thon being held at the township building right next door. We greatly appreciate the willingness of these groups to host us. Of course, as always, we’ll also be in the library from 9:30 am – 5 pm.

And to top it all off, it’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Some of our stations have pirate coloring sheets for the kids. So in the spirit of the day, I hope to see you out in the community today, me hearties! Thar be treasures in t’ library.
