Kids Lego Club

Join us for LEGO building and friendship. We provide the LEGOs and you provide the imagination.

Join Miss Jenn for a rockin’ good time. Shake your sillies out and wiggle your waggles away! We’ll start with a story and then get movin’ and groovin’.

Little Buddies – Grades 1-5
Elementary students read with high school students in order to reinforce reading techniques and increase reading confidence! This is a great opportunity for both teens and kids!

Help us start the summer off right with a Star Wars Party! We will have trivia, crafts, and photo ops with our new Star Wars friends. Star Wars character appearances will not be confirmed until June.

Silly Joe is going to Rock the Library! With Silly Joe you will swim with sharks, walk the plank, quack like a duck, and dance with underwear on your head! Silly Joe knows how to get kids moving while making them laugh, think, and even read.

Part craft, part story. Build a paper bag puppet and then work with master storyteller, Robin Bady, to tell or create a story.
Family Movie Singalongs

Join us and sing along to with your favorite characters. Keep an eye out for the titles, all movies will be rated G or PG.

Get a cultural overview of India and learn about some of the major festivals and traditions across the country. Ethnic and handicraft items will be on display. Our presenter, Swati from the Community Bollywood Dance Project, will answer questions and listen to your stories about India. Then we dance! You will learn the basics of Bollywood dancing and a piece of choreography. We will end with a group performance.
Coloring Between the Lines
Thursdays, 7/12-8/16, 1-2:30p
Adults, teens, and kids are welcome to color in a relaxing environment. We provide crayons, markers, and colored pencils, along with adult coloring books and children’s coloring books. Bring the whole family or come by yourself.
No registration but space is limited.

17th Annual Kid’s Talent Show

Do you have a special talent that you want to share? Join us for our 17th Annual Talent Show! You can sing, dance, perform a magic trick, tell a joke, or play an instrument. Registration for performers is required by July 23rd. No keyboard/piano is available.

Wild West: The Mystery of the Golden Piano Grab your spurs and journey with Sciencetellers to the Wild West, where a legendary bank-robbing outlaw is back in town, about to strike again! After the Sheriff mysteriously vanishes, two young kids must saddle up to foil the great heist — but not before stopping a runaway train, escaping an abandoned mine shaft and discovering how a mysterious piano can play an ‘instrumental’ part in putting a rotten cowboy back behind bars. Throughout this absolutely wild adventure story, volunteers from the audience will help us explore the fascinating science behind chemical reactions, acids and bases, combustion, air pressure, inertia and more.
