Come and play with us! We will provide dress-up items, block sets, and a variety of other toys. Use this as a time to talk with other parents and caregivers while your child(ren) plays.

At our Family Place Library™ you and your child will enjoy an engaging, interactive time, talking, singing, reading, writing & playing together with our large variety of creative & stimulating pre-literacy activity stations. Playing with everything from puzzles & transportation toys to artistic materials & dramatic play items will help your child with their fine motor skills, body awareness & imagination expansion. Each week meet a local Early Childhood Resource Professional & receive free advice, assistance, handouts.

Children’s Book Week Kick-off Party

Join Miss Jenn to kick-off this special week. Special book displays and book themed crafts will be available during the event. Learn about library resources and share your love of books. Drop off your favorite book creations for judging.

Favorite Book Creation Contest

Monday, 4/30-Sunday, 5/6
Ages 3-12

Create a work of art representing your favorite children’s book. Drawings, sculptures, dioramas, whatever you can think of. Entry forms can be picked up in the library starting April 2nd. Voting will be held 4/30-5/6. The winner will be a “librarian for a day”!

Stories and Puppets

Touch a Truck

Do you love trucks? The Upper Dublin Township Public Works Department will bring out some of their heavy equipment for us to enjoy. Honk the horn, pose for a picture, and imagine you are driving. When you’re done, come into the library for a craft and to check out some books.

Dress-Up Day @ the Library

Come and pretend with us. Children will be able to dress-up and use their imaginations to build language and social skills. Dress-up items will be provided by the library.

Coloring Between the Lines

Adults, teens, and kids are welcome to color in a relaxing environment. We provide crayons, markers, and colored pencils, along with adult coloring books and children’s coloring books. Bring the whole family or come by yourself.
