Little Buddies – Grades 1-5
Big Buddies – Grades 9 – 12
Elementary students read with high school students in order to reinforce reading techniques and increase reading confidence! This is a great opportunity for both teens and kids!

Join us for LEGO building and friendship. We provide the LEGOs and you provide the imagination.
Playtime @ the Library
Program Room & Children’s Area
Come and play with us! We will provide dress-up items, block sets, and a variety of other toys. Use this as a time to talk with other parents and caregivers while your child(ren) plays.
Kids Advisory Board/Official Snack Testers
Miss Jenn needs help! Come and offer your advice and expertise about what kids like. Each month we will discuss the library, plan and complete projects, and taste test snacks.

Join Miss Jenn for a rockin’ good time. Shake your sillies out and wiggle your waggles away! We’ll start with a story and then get movin’ and groovin’.
Story & Craft
Join us for a story and related craft. Each week we will explore a different theme related to the Summer Quest.
No registration, but space is limited.
7/6 Wall-E Rated G
Get out of the heat and relax at the library while you watch a movie on our “big screen”. Snacks and activities (crafts and more) will be provided. All movies will be rated G or PG.
Build a tower, a bridge, or whatever you can imagine. We have received multiple block sets from The Office of Commonwealth Libraries through a Cruise into Kindergarten program grant. Develop skills for school while having fun!
Family Caldecott Club
7/15 & 8/19
Kids Grades K-2 & their adult caregivers
Learn about past Caldecott winners (books selected by the American Library Association for the best illustrations in a children’s book) and look at eligible books for the 2020 winner. Adults and children will look at the new books together and decide who deserves an award.
