Am I required to wear a mask?

Effective immediately (Tuesday, August 10, 2021), masks are required indoors at all Township facilities for all individuals. Thank you for your cooperation.

You're invited to come inside the Library to browse and borrow from the collections, use a computer, meet, study or work. The Library's Study Rooms are open. How do I get a library card?

Your library card is more important than ever. You may register for and receive a library card on your next visit or by applying here. For online applications, you will be contacted by a staff member when your library card is ready for pickup. Alternatively, you can request that your card be mailed to you.

The UDPL is not collecting overdue fines. We still encourage you to return your items on time so other can borrow them, and you will continue to receive almost due and overdue notices to help you stay on track. If you need to pay for a lost or damaged item, you can make your payment through your online

The Book Return is open 24/7 at the new library at 520 Virginia Drive, Ft. Washington. The Book Return is located on the back wall which allows the items to be returned directly into the building! You may return books you've borrowed from other libraries. We'll make sure they return home safely.
