Is the Library open?

Yes! You’re invited to come inside the Library to browse and borrow from the collections. Some seating/tables are available for public use. A limited number of computers are available for use (1/2 hour minimum; may be extended in 15-minute increments if no one is waiting).

As we loosen restrictions and receive more visitors, it’s even more important that we all remain vigilant to keep everyone safe. Please respect our COVID-19 Policy by wearing a mask properly and continuing to social distance. No appointments necessary. As of March 15, 2021, we have removed the 30-minute time limit, and increased building capacity to the state’s mandated  75% maximum (75% of the Children’s Library’s maximum capacity is 37 people so please limit your visit when it is crowded). See Capacity Limits for libraries and government buildings here.

To return books or pick up your requests, please use the Library’s drive-thru book drop and Service Window.

The Children’s Play Space and study/meeting rooms are currently unavailable.
