Description: Join some of the participants from the Wyncote Audubon Society’s international birding trip to the Santa Marta Region of Colombia. The team will present some of our best photographs of the extraordinary birds we were able to see. Hear some personal anecdotes and stories of this Colombia adventure. Our Columbia tour was postponed three times due to the Covid pandemic but the group, led by George Armistead, persisted and eventually enjoyed our first Wyncote Audubon Society international birding. George has shared some of his amazing photographs of the birds and our group for those of us for us to present at our May meeting.
This monthly meeting of the Wyncote Audubon Society is open to the public in partnership with Upper Dublin Library. Join us for a new topic and new speaker every month. All are welcome!
Presenter: The Wyncote Audubon Society is a Chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the nearly 2000 Audubon members who reside in major portions of Montgomery County and Philadelphia including Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, Roxborough, North Philadelphia and Northeast Philadelphia.
