Description: Learn to sew simple tote bags as part of a library service project. The tote bags will be given away to children who visit the library, encouraging them to borrow books and read often. Volunteer service hours will be awarded for attending. Open to both beginners and experienced sewers. All supplies will be provided.
Oct 9 – This session is for beginners to learn sewing machine basics. Those with current sewing experience can skip this session and join in at the second session on Oct 16.
Oct 16 & 23 – During the 2nd & 3rd sessions, participants will learn the tote bag pattern and make a few.
