Learn how two unrelated events, the discovery of Uranus and a solar eclipse 138 years later, led to the discovery of theory of gravity and made ‘Albert Einstein’ a household name. Along our journey we will discover the planet Vulcan (not from TV!), what black holes and GPS have in common, and show why it’s okay for Pluto to not be a planet anymore.
Presenter Chris D’Andrea, Professor of Astrophysics, University of Pennsylvania & Bryn Mawr College
