Description: Science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
Instructor: Judy Thalheimer, RD, LDN, is a volunteer Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association. In her professional life, Judy is the managing editor of Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter and has conducted nutrition education sessions throughout the Philadelphia area. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
