Description: The Pennypack Trust has spent the last full growing season experimenting with the management of their grasslands and turf areas. Find out what we’re learning from a season packed full of soil, plant, and insect observations. We’ll also discuss what this suggests for small backyard land managers and larger natural open spaces.

Instructor: Chris Mendel is the Executive Director at Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust.

The Wyncote Audubon Society is a Chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the nearly 2000 Audubon members who reside in major portions of Montgomery County and Philadelphia including Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, Roxborough, North Philadelphia and Northeast Philadelphia.
