Description: Vladimir Putin, a product of the old USSR, has been involved in the use of intelligence to regain the lost prestige of the Soviet Union. This lecture will delve into the history of Ukrainian-Russian relations, the use of spies, lies and intelligence by Putin to accomplish his aims, and the role NATO plays in this sensitive scenario. Instructor: James Robertson has an MA in Modern European History, has been a Temple Lifelong Learning Lecturer for 13 years, and an Adjunct History Professor for 16 years.
