Description: The American Songbook is well represented in this show featuring Katie Eagleson singing the music of Irving Berlin and his contemporaries. As one critic said, “Katie Eagleson is a singer in a league with some greats who are long gone. Cabaret is lucky to have her.” — John Hoglund, Cabaret Scenes Magazine. Includes songs in French, Spanish, the Brazilian gem “O Pato,” and topped off with a little Sondheim. Katie will be joined by Lenny Pierro at the piano and Madison Rast on bass. Part of the Adult Discovery & Learning Lecture Series.
Performer: Katie Eagleson has sung over 30 years with groups ranging from a cabaret style duo to a 16-piece big band. She has been a singing teacher with a private studio in the Philadelphia area. Katie has released four CDs to critical acclaim.
