Program Location: StoryLab

Description: At Books N’ Crafts, children will come weekly to practice their emerging reading skills in a fun, engaging way with enthusiastic teen volunteers. They can read aloud with a teen volunteer, a stuffed animal or a toy of their choice. Children will also engage in an interactive craft at the end of each session. The goal of this program is to improve children’s reading and speaking skills, and get them more excited about reading.

Presenter: Sophie Cho, Kayley Chiodo, Allison Chong, Jessica Giang are Upper Dublin High School seniors, completing their culminating project. They are passionate about reading and want to make an impact on children’s lives by showing that reading is fun and exciting.
