Dear Library Patrons, Thank you for your continued interest and support of our wonderful public library. Today I am excited to share with you this recent Ambler Gazette article regarding the very recent action by the Upper Dublin Township Board of Commissioners to purchase the vacant two-story building (former pharma company offices) at 520 Virginia Drive. When it comes to works about the Great American Road trip, I've always been much more of a Steinbeck Travels with Charley kind of girl than On the Road or Easy Rider. The entirety of the quote I stole from Steinbeck to make my blog title is this: "A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. Ever since we installed our first Little Free Library at Mondauk Common playground in 2014, I’ve noticed Little Free Libraries everywhere. The concept is so simple, so beautiful. You come upon this sweet little surprise, a hidden gem, in an unusual place that invites you to browse for a few quiet, relaxing moments. If you find something you’d

The 2016 Friends of Upper Dublin Library Art in the Park Crafts Show (third annual) held August 27th again proved to be very successful for the Friends (net proceeds over $3,100), the crafters, and the buying public. We had 78 crafters at the growing event (from NJ, PA, and DE), presenting an impressive array of quality products.
