I don’t think I’m alone when I say that as a reader, one of my favorite things is to meet authors.  I consider it a major perk and privilege that I get the chance to meet incredible authors and watch them interact with the Upper Dublin community. There’s just something sort of…magical…about meeting the person behind the words you’ve read on a page.
Up the wow factor even more when it’s an author you already admire and her latest book is all about many places you know, described in a way that is both fresh and familiar.
So, basically, you could say that I’m very excited about next Thursday, Nov. 5th, when National Book award finalist author Beth Kephart will be joining us for our second annual “Let’s Discuss It” at the Ambler Theater at 7:30 p.m.
You may have already read about Beth, her book, and her visit when UDPL Director Cheri Fiory blogged about her a couple of weeks ago.  Beth will be talking about “Love: A Philadelphia Affair,” her latest book. We’ll also be joined by Temple University film students who will be showcasing their amazing work.
