9/11 Writing & Art Contest
20 Years Later: September 11, 2001
Though it’s been 20 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and the crash of Flight 93 in Somerset County, PA, the impact on our nation can still be seen today. To commemorate this tragic day and the ways in which we recovered, the UDPL in partnership with the UDSD offered a writing and art contest. Upper Dublin residents were invited to submit poetry, fiction, an interview with reflection, or 2-D visual arts. Sponsored by the Friends of Upper Dublin Library.
The entries are on display in the library lobby throughout Sept 2021 or read the 9/11 Contest e-book here.
